A former Peace Colony (now state of Rockford) capital, Peaceville features number of buildings dating back to 1999 to 2000 and beyond as well.

It has been historically considered home to the company called Circle of Peace Inc. which were founded by Legolas and city's founder Legion in December 1999, the same month and year the city was founded.

It has been considered the historical capital of the former Peace Colony from 1999 to 2004, when the Peace Colony became the state of Rockford and its capital was moved to Rockford (originally known as Wintertown).

It was also the first city in the state to have held election for its mayor back in early 2000. 3cm won the election and was thus considered to be the state's one of the first elected official on local level.
